Badri Cow is a pure breed Indian cow which is native to Uttarakhand. It is also called Pahadi Cow as it is only found in the hilly areas of Uttarakhand. It is a small size cow with a milk production of only 500 ml - 1 lts per day. Hence its milk is highly nutritious and it has immunity boosting properties. Due to its low milk production, ghee made with its milk goes for a premium price.

Badri Cow Ghee is made using the traditional Bilona method where Cow milk is made into Curd first and then curd is churned to make butter in the wooden vats. This butter is then boiled on a slow wood fire, so that the water evaporates leaving behind pure ghee.
